Membership Types and Abilities
Student
Any student currently enrolled at Sonoma State University with a valid Seawolf ID card is allowed to use the facility. Students will receive a complimentary membership with tuition during the fall and spring semesters.
Faculty/ Staff
Any current employee of Sonoma State University can use the facility by purchasing a membership.
Alumni
Any person who has completed a degree from Sonoma State University can use the facility by purchasing a membership. Any retired faculty/staff or alumni – please complete the Retired Faculty/Staff & Alumni Form form prior to coming in. Once completed, we will confirm your eligibility and send you a confirmation email.
Extended Education Students
Any student currently enrolled in the Extended Education program at Sonoma State University.
Lifelong Learning Education Members
Any current member of the lifelong learning program can use the facility by purchasing a membership.
Sponsored Members
Each current Campus Recreation member may sponsor one person to use the campus recreation facilities by purchasing a membership. The sponsored member must be 18 years of age. Please note that sponsored members are NOT allowed to sponsor other individuals.
Retired Staff/Faculty
Any person who has previously retired from Sonoma State University can use the facility by purchasing a membership.
Any retired faculty/staff or alumni – please complete the Retired Faculty/Staff & Alumni Form form prior to coming in. Once completed, we will confirm your eligibility and send you a confirmation email.
Vaccine Protocol for Public Use of Recreation Center
Campus Recreation staff will follow the following when registering SSU community members to utilize the Recreation Center.
Eligible members: Retired Faculty/staff, Alumni and Sponsored Guest
Vaccination Requirement: Required for all eligible members
Exemptions: Medical exemptions will be allowed with proof from a doctor
Confirmation process: During the registration process, the eligible member will provide proof of their vaccination status by showing their vaccination card or digital COVID-19 vaccine record from the State of California.
