The Climbing Wall at Campus Recreation was built in 2004 by Enterprise Climbing. The facility has a 39’ roped climbing wall with diverse terrain that hosts 11 top ropes (with 2-3 routes per rope) and 9 bolted lines for lead climbing (with 1-2 routes per line). A top out boulder also hosts numerous boulder problems.
Low Ropes Course
The Low Ropes Course is located on the north end of Campus Recreation. The facility hosts 8 separate low ropes elements that are designed to safely challenge groups to develop teamwork, communication, trust and problem-solving skills. To access the Low Ropes Course, make a reservation through the Low Ropes Course
website. At the time of your reservation head to the front desk of Campus Recreation.
The Campus Recreation game room is furnished with billiard tables and ping pong tables available for use during regular operating hours. All equipment needed is at the Campus Recreation front desk and is available for equipment checkout. Come enjoy a game with fellow Seawolves!
Inside Campus Recreation you will find two large fitness studios dedicated to group exercise and fitness training. The studios are Niagra Studio and Silver Strand Studio. These studios are often used for InMotion classes or open recreation time.
Located near the Wolves Den, the pool has ten lanes and is 25 meters in length. The lanes range from 4 ft to13 ft in depth. The pool is available for both recreational, and lap swimming.
ORC and Seawolf Cyclery
The Outdoor Resource Center (ORC) and Seawolf Cyclery are located behind the front desk of Campus Recreation. There you will find many free (outdoor resource libraries, bike tools, trail maps) and affordable rentals (outdoor equipment, bike maintenance, and bike rentals).
The two courts at Campus Recreation are Mount Everest and Denali Multi-Activity court. Mount Everest Gym is the primary informal/open gymnasium consists of two basketball or volleyball court configurations. Denali Multi-Activity Court welcomes a variety of gatherings with its spacious layout and high ceilings. The primary use of this space is for soccer, volleyball, and basketball but the space is very versatile.
Need a spot to store your gear? Campus Recreation provides secure locker rooms with lockers to store gear. Cubby lockers are also available throughout the building. After a great workout, head to the back of the locker room to enjoy the spa and take some time to relax.
The Recreation Center contains an indoor jogging track that includes a climate-controlled environment so you can enjoy your run. The tracks design allows for consistent traction with a cushioned surface providing greater safety and comfort.
The Fitness Center is loaded with state-of-the-art selectorized weight training equipment from Body Master and Paramount. It is kept clean and hygienic with the help of participants, as well as Fitness Center staff.
