Personal Training
Personal Training allows members to maximize their workout and get a customized fitness plan. Campus Recreation’s certified personal training staff is ready to help you achieve your goals and learn about the many components of a healthy lifestyle.
One-on-one sessions led by Nationally Certified Trainers that are geared toward individual client fitness goals. These sessions are typically 55 minutes in length for Campus Recreation Students and current Recreation Center Members.
How to Sign Up for Personal Training
1. Visit the Campus Recreation front desk or sign up on RecPortal
2. Select a training package
3. Within two business days, the fitness staff will send you an email with additional information to complete
4. Once information is submitted, a Personal Trainer will be assigned to you and will reach out
1, 3, 5, and 10-session packages include a basic assessment that will be a part of your session. Your session will be 1-hour and 30-minutes long to accommodate the assessment (30 minutes) and your session (55 minutes).
This is a one-on-one session with one of our personal trainers to set goals, learn about fitness programs, and get acclimated to exercise equipment tailored to individual needs and interests. The consultation is intended to serve as an informative and introductory session with a personal trainer The consultation DOES NOT include an assessment or client-specific program prescription. Those services are available only after purchasing a 1, 3, 5, or 10-session training package.
This is included in each package is a collection of physical performance markers (overhead squat test, plank test, push-up test) to identify strengths and areas of improvement of the client. This assessment extends the first session by about 30 minutes.
